How to Sync Location and Inventory in Real-Time Between Shopify and Salesforce in Sync Made Easy?
This guide walks you through the process of creating and managing locations, inventory, and inventory levels in Shopify and synchronizing them seamlessly with Salesforce for accurate tracking and management.
Step 1 –Open your Shopify Store.
Step 2 –Click on Settings.
Step 3 –Click on Locations.
Step 4 –Click on Add Location.
Step 5 –Click the Add button to enter the name and address for the location.
Step 6 –Enter the location name and address details, then click the Save button to save the address.
Step 7 –Copy the Shopify Location ID and search for it in Salesforce.
Step 8 –The location will now be synced in Salesforce.
Step 9 –Open the location detail page in Salesforce.
Step 10 – Go back to Shopify and click View Inventory on the location page.
Step 11 –Currently, no inventory will be available since no products have been created for this location.
Step 12 –To create inventory for this location, go to Products in Shopify and create a new product associated with this location.
Step 13 –Add the quantity to the location for the inventory.
Step 14 –Return to the inventory page in Shopify. You will now notice that inventory has been created for the specified location. On the variant-related page, the inventory will also be visible.

Step 15 –To view the location, navigate to the related inventory and check the inventory levels.
