How Return Order Sync from Shopify to Salesforce

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how Return Order Sync from Shopify to Salesforce works. Whenever an order is returned in Shopify, Salesforce automatically creates a Return Order record with all the return details.

Step 1: Log in to Salesforce and in App Launcher search "HIC Sync made easy". Click on it.



Step 2: Go to "SME Pro Features".



Step 3: Enable the "Refund Sync (Shopify → Salesforce)" and "Return Order Sync (Shopify → Salesforce)" feature's toggle button.



Step 4: Go to your Shopify store and select any paid order for which you want to check the return order details.



Step 5: Make sure the order is fulfilled. If it is not fulfilled, fulfill the order first.



Step 6: After successfully fulfilling the order, click the "Return" button.



Step 7: Select the quantity to be returned and enter the tracking number. Then, click the "Create return" button.



Step 8: Now, click "Process and refund".



Step 9: Click "Process and refund" again to proceed.



Step 10: Copy the Shopify Order ID from the top of the Shopify URL.



Step 11: In Salesforce, search for the Shopify Order ID using the Global Search and open the corresponding order.



Step 12: Navigate to the "Related" section. Here, you will see the "Shopify Return Orders" record that has been created. Click on it.



Step 13: Go to its "Related" section to view the additional return details.



Step 14: Open the Line Item to view more product-related return details.


 

Step 15: Here, you can view all the details of the returned product and its variant.



This completes the process of Return Order Sync from Shopify to Salesforce.
